I am Sorry

This is written for the bird that succumbed to death after colliding on the wall of the building for which I failed to save her life. These birds are usually found near my room enjoying on a giant tree that bears fruit twice in a semester. Early in the morning I could hear them singing to their tone and chatting. It was on Sunday afternoon when I was studying, two birds flew directly from the tree with full speed and suddenly one collided on the building wall and died after few minutes.

This is the second incident. A month back another bird did the same. But luckily it was safe. It was funny for the instant but when I see them suffering with pain and struggling it’s really aching.

I am sorry for not clever enough to safe your life. You were warm when I picked from the ground. Your beak was broken and neck was too mislay to hold your head. I tried my level best to safe you but in vain. I know how this happened to you. Actually you shouldn’t be hastening this much. I know the tree is full of what you want and it will be plenty for thousands of you.

Luckily your friend was safe.

Your body became cold and rigid. And I knew you are death now. I am sorry dear cute bird.

Giant tree where Birds enjoy

Building wall where it was collided

That handsome head
with a mighty beak,
Hands like fists are
where there should be feet.

Wonderful colours cover
Your shape, enough splendors
To make a person gaze.

While you are alive-
With your wings held high
You put a smile on my face.
With all your power
You always left your trace.
Never did I see you frown
For your smile was never upside down.

You were always by my side
And although you are no longer
I can still feel your presence
Your feathers warming my heart
I will always miss you.

And I know the favor will be returned some day
For when I see once again as like you
It will be in the sky where
They will once again hold their wings up high.
But I feel your good sound is already missing;

Examination Fever

It is said when the examinations are approaching, the students suffer from examination fever and rightly examinations are regarded as a curse by students. The approach of examinations means the beginning of fear in the mind of a student. Yab it is damn true yaar!!!

As a matter of fact, examinations are the only worry of students. They are the only unpleasant experience in an otherwise happy and carefree life. The worry of an examination interrupts the smooth course of a student's life. Games, musical concerts, debates and other extracurricular activities are all stopped busy in preparations for examinations. Students are not to be found at the play field, restaurants and other places of entertainment during the examination days. But lazy few are found active on facebook like me.

Examinations are held to test students' ability, to check up the work they have done during a term, to judge what progress they have made and to determine whether they have been utilizing or wasting their time. If there were no examinations, the merits of the various students could not be judged, nor would the majority of students take any interest as it is only the fear of examinations that makes students work.

Yet another big tension - RESULT... let me do my best and see who will be the winner. If you win I fail but if I win I am always winner mind it!! and this is the real great advantages of victory against examinations.

Good luck to all those who are appearing for exams, specially to my fellow friends of twenth standard. Best of Luck. See you all in various colleges!!

I'll Remember

I’ll remember the first time I saw you.
I still remember the first time I called you.
I’ll remember the first time I looked in your eyes.
I’ll remember the first time you smiled at me.
I’ll remember the first time I told you how much I feel about you.

I’ll remember the first time I told you how much you mean to my world.
I’ll remember the first time you said you are interested in me.
I’ll remember the first time we go out together.
I’ll remember the first time we make love.
I’ll remember the first time you told me that we will be like king and queen.

I’ll give you all I have.
I’ll give you my heart.
I’ll give you respect.
I’ll give you love.

Mila's Soekhar Guthog

A man was inspired. He was motivated. He has the power and will. And the man is Lam Kezang. The power and determination of him is what we can’t measure. In 2007 he visited Milarepa Tower in Qinghai, Tibet. “Ever since I visited the Milarepa Tower in Qinghai in 2007, I have had a dream to build a similar tower (Sekargutok or Nine-storied Tower) in Bhutan”.

Due to his immense aspiration to build such tower in Bhutan, Royal Government of Bhutan approved 5 acre site at Rigzinling, Sampheling Gewog, Phuntsholing under Chukha dzongkhag.
All the architectural drawing and access road to the site was completed. On 2nd November, 2011 corresponding to the seven day of nine month and Rabbit Metal year of Bhutanese calendar the ground breaking ceremony or Salang Tendrel was conducted by His Holiness Je Khenpo.

”We anticipate that, when finished, the Milarepa Tower will become an important spiritual centre as well as a major tourism and cultural attraction.

To build such a Tower will earn great merit for all who participate.

Please give generously! May all be auspicious!”
said Lam Kezang Tsheltrium.

With Lam
The nine-story stupa Lord Milarepa last built was Soekargutok Stupa. It stands in its original position, symbolizing unwavering faith of Milarepa had in his teacher and Buddha dharma.

The merits of building stupas and monasteries are profound and vast and extremely we can't measure. Building a stupa-monastery in memory of Drukpa lineage master Lord Milarepa  is specially so. And contributing few or how much we can will earn merits.
