From Shingkhar, Zhemgang

It was long journey in those bumpy roads. It takes six hours from Tingtibi to reach my site office at Nimshong. Again it takes two hours to reach the actual work sites. It is tough and tiring even in vehicle in those far roads. Gewog road construction is going on for Shingkhar and Bardo gewog under Zhemgang dzongkhag. I went to sites for handing taking formalities to complete.

I was told to be careful with work since the area is politically sensitive. I don’t understand why. The only thing I know is that I am taking charge for the service of dear people. Road is necessary for the development to progress. I never expect people disagree and nurse a grievance.

It was inspiring to see labors, machine operators, site supervisors and Junior Engineer work hard to reach the road to destiny, gewog centers.  The very tiring work to drill and blast those rocky terrains is dangerous. Despite their hard work they are not happy to hear those hard words of people’s disagreement. They get demoralized.

I plea, people Please come to a consensus. Let us construct and build for your own benefits. Work is getting delay day by day.

And for time pass I wrote the poem after listening to people how ZHemgang and Bumthang is connected. It would be great if I get time to reach Bumthang and Mongar from Shingkhar, Zhemgang by walk.

From Zhemgang Shingkhar to Bumthang Shingkhar,
For excursion that seem convivial forth,
Hoping best to explore beyond
It would be time passing great.
I shalt go~

Far and beyond the Agony you left

Far and beyond the agony you left
Flapping lone in that top it waft
Be it zephyr or the wind
Thou dance for the beings gone and alive.

Shaded scribbles
From the bibles
With enormous devotion inscribed
I am subjected to subscribed
From the daunting Samsara
Dangle with effort to transcend
To the safe haven of Nirvana
So I shalt waft far and more…

Tingtibi, Zhemgang, Bhutan

Everything is new at Tingtibi. Foremost the place itself is new for me. Go to office, bazaar, and to hospital people are new. The work and office that I am going to head again is new. As I look in any direction, I could only see those huge mountains that block everything and even mobile network, again a new thing to experience. The only old I could see is when I look beyond, the beautiful sky.

The pristine nature is inspiring to live. The beautiful Mangdechu River flows beneath arch bridge and it is refreshing to stand on for sightseeing. Little above the bridge is small town plateaued on the slope. Every corner of the town has small branch office except for Bank of Bhutan.

Beyond those huge mountains, to explore and see what exist, travel to Trongsa, Zhemgang and many new places of Zhemgang is yet to be prepared. Soon I will leave for hot spring excursion. And many more beautiful place to reconnoiter and add up in the list of experience in my life.

For now I wish you Happy Weekend. Enjoy~ Forget not to wear your smile~

It is a pleasure that versatile blogger Damcho sir nominated me for the “Very Inspiring Blog Award”. The terms made me confuse. Confusion plunge me to contemplate, am I inspiring? Yet again many more inspiring bloggers nominated me for the same. I want to thank Langa Tenzin (Law Student), Sherub Pelmo (Law student), Kezang Wangchuk (Student), Karma Wangzom (Engineering student), NorbuWangchuk (Teacher), and Rima Reyka (A mistaken Bhutanese with utmost love for Dragon Kingdom). It’s a long time being into a blogging journey. It is in the interest of me that follow my patient and someone conferred me those awards isn’t I expect.  Anyways I want to thank Damcho sir for the award and I am committed to be a regular blogger though I am far away to be an inspiring one.

I am sorry for responding back late. I was bit busy in the new place, adjusting with new people and environment for my new job. I had to eat every last morsel after auditors in the guest house. Sometimes everything new is challenging.

Now let’s begin and I will lecture seven points about me!!!

7 points about me

  •  I am Sangay Duba but like to be called Sangay Cholden since the later sounds cool. I am from remote village Shokshi Pangthang, Wangphu Gewog under Samdrup Jongkhar district. I am second among seven siblings.
  • I completed my degree from College of Science and Technology with major in civil engineering. Currently I am working with Department of Roads, Regional Office, Tingtibi, Zhemgang under Ministry of Work and Human Settlement. I was not a bright and intelligent student back then in schools and college. The outcome of what I am today is all due to the motivation and inspiration of my great father.
  •  My only interest back then in school days was to play Chinese checker. It was simple game and enjoyable. To dance, play and become famous is not in my instinct. Basically I am shy guy. I yearn to play football. I am not best in games yet not too bad.
  • I am easygoing person. Whatever you say is your opinions. Whether it interferes my way or bothers me in any sense, I am not reactive. I am agreeable person. Sometimes that is the extent of my kindness and warmth for other. Truly I am compassionate, helpful and not much suspicious of others. I am religious.
  • Luckily or unluckily I am not a social butterfly. I am not chatty and sociable unless I know someone well. May be I am introvert confuse with shyness lol! But I am not lady alike.
  • I enjoy adventure. I am curious and appreciate art, imagination and new things. I am open. It is not difficult for me to change personality depending on the nature of situation and person with which I deal with.
  • I am serious to my work. I don’t care to react to anyone, if he/she isn’t sincere and punctual. That is the very bad thing I am obsessed with.

Here are my nominees. To revert to seven points about you for who already got the award is your choice.
