Blogging vacation for long

The situation left me idle, idle that was total silent.
The fact is simple and straight forward - I was new to work.
Study and work is two complete different things to consider and believe.
Yes, working with no guidance is tough and challenging.

More challenging is, you are someone's immediate head,
When I have to decide and give directions that is tougher.
The toughest is when you have to deal for larger interest, the public.
More controversy it becomes when many grievances collide.
emotionalistdiaries.com
Yes, I am working selflessly dedicated to benefits for larger interest.
The UK times in those seem mundane arena shall prevail ever.
Good news is that UK is developing as the time gallop.
I am living a life in Upper Kheng, the UK times of my time.

Thank you

I am Sangay Duba and let me declare as an author of the blog Sangay Cholden’s Random Thoughts.

I Hope my fellow bloggers and readers are doing great with your family, friends and anyone that are related to you, one way or other.

I am writing this post to share my smile and happiness at the turn of the century.

I started blogging three years ago when I was in second year. Whatever thoughts come in my mind I try to pen down in black and white. The journey is tough, tough and blank most of the time. It is a difficult path strewn with slippery wet leaves.

I write about anything I want and the assigned topics. These are two opposite instructions for me and the common reaction to both – a big blank. I don’t have enough past experiences that I’ll pour upon. I don’t have gift to get mesmerize by the enthralling beauty of nature and forecast the futile future. Even then I keep my blog up to date.

Basically I write my random thoughts.

Within those past years, I am one among bloggers in Bhutan who blogs regularly.

It is my great pleasure to thank all my readers and followers. My follower counts has already crossed 100 plus. The count of page view is gaining its momentum.

Through blogging, I came to know many people – intellects, college student, great writer with whom we share our common interest, to write.

Worth nowhere among thousand intellects,
I was born to be blogger fanatic.
Within those few years from my start,
Century behold the destiny of onward.
With utmost dedication I tender,
My gratitude for you being an ardent reader.
Thank you followers and readers!!!

Finally he came up with a Blog

I am going to introduce to Bhutanese bloggers and in fact to the world that a new blogger was born few days ago. He is no other then my good friend Jigme Tenzin, he who likes to spell his name as Jigmey.

We have been together for many years and have known him in depth. We didn’t realize how those years passed swiftly and now time close by the departing point. Within few days we are departing. Yet everything will be cherished and good memories shall remind us wherever we work in future.

I am not a good writer. I write my random thoughts randomly because of my own interest. I don’t think I can inspire anyone to write and blog. I am not worth it. Yet he is the one who was inspired by what little I do regularly. He read whatever I write and sarcastically say that I am a good writer.
Author of the blog!
At last he came up with his own blog to share his thoughts. He kept the name as Jigmmey’s Thoughts with description, in view of developing habit of writing down my thoughts and ideas.

I wish him best journey ahead in the blogging world. I hope he will come up with inspiring articles and photographs for which he promised me.

Liebster Blog Award III

Thank you Passa for the nomination and sorry for the delay.

What made you to blog?

Before I answer the question, please read the anecdote below:

A man was traveling and stopped at an intersection. He asked an elderly man, "Where does this road take me?" The elderly person asked, "Where do you want to go?" The man replied, "I don't know." The elderly people said, “Then take any road. What difference does it make?"
How true. When we don't know where we are going, any road will take us there.

I blog because …………….. (click here)

Three things that you will never do in your entire life?

There are many things that I will not do in my life. I will not jump off the cliff to prove that I loved someone so differently. I shall not wear the apron of crazy drunkard man in Shakespeare’s drama. I will definitely not overcome the joviality of humanity to create unhappiness. I like happiness. And I know you do the same! Be happy!

What is the best part of being you?

Hehehe… normally I am fun oriented guy! I am so flexible and I am not acclimatizing!! My ability to fit in shoes of others and shunning the situation with neutral say is best in being me with others! And if the shoe fits I wear it. I forgive. These are the best part of being me.

One place on the earth where you would love to go, with whom and why?

I would definitely love to go with you to the heavenly abbot in the afterlife. Exactly on earth I don’t find any place where I will go with someone. Every new place gives me happiness and contentment and that is why I never envy the people’s absurdity to stand near the base of Eifel tower, drench in the salty sea….. but if Phallus tower is build in Bhutan I would go with friends to giggle and gratify the joviality of being born in the Buddhist land.

One person who inspires you?

My dad! He is the ONE who always inspire me.

Liebster Blog Award - II

I want to thank Tashi Gyelmo for nominating me back for the Liebster Blog Award and a big thank you again for the wonderful new questions that you have framed for the bloggers. I wear beatific smile though my answers may define otherwise. Thank you Tashi.

What is the motive behind your blogging? Or I would rephrase my question in this way, what do you actually intend to convey to the world through your blog posts?

Just randomly as is my thought, I started blogging when I was in first year. By the time I penned down my rationale behind playing with words, I was into the pool of the blogging world. Sometimes back in 2012 I have written a post titled Why I Write. Let me share few lines from the article. ”I began blogging three years ago while I was in first year. The purpose was not defined. After a year of blogging I realize the rationale of my amateur interest. I write for the purpose. I have something to say. I have something to say to someone. I have some purpose for saying it. Information is constantly available – from other people, television, radio, newspapers, books, world wide web and many other sources and why not from my blog?”

What do you aspire yourself to be within the next five years?

Hehehe… every time when I was ask this particular question I just smile. When I was a little school boy I just dream to be a simple school teacher. Just that was my genuine ambition. When I was in high school I dreamt to be doctor. Ironically I dropped Biology and studied mathematics. Then I struggled to be civil engineer. Yes, my hard work in 12th standard rewarded me with good marks. It was a joy that awake me whole night a day after result was declared. Soon I will be done with my training. I expressed my interest in teaching to the college and I am now frequently reminded to come back as faculty. I nod with smile and say yes. But I am not sure whether to continue with my genuine ambition to be academician or otherwise, civil engineer. I am waiting for the time indeed! Hehe…

In general, how do you view at your life? You may jot a few sentences on your attitude or perception about life.

For me life is being simple and helping as much I can to anyone that’ll relate to me. I am human for I am related to all people and they are to me as well.

Someone said, your attitude define your altitude. Hope it is true but not universal. For some, altitude is their attitude. Once they are raised to certain height they forgot some human instincts. Anyways in all way round people with good attitude act well, fit well in society and they are being loved.

Something that is hidden behind everyone is their attitude – values, standards, judgments, motives, and ethics and believes. These will have impact on their behavior which is known to others in the form of knowledge and skills. So whether is if the glass is half-full or half-empty, depends on the attitude of the person looking at it.

Bhutan is regarded as the land of Gross National Happiness. How far does the philosophy comply with the real lives the Bhutanese people lead and what is your perception on this concept?

It is the greatest philosophy that I have ever read and known. Yes, I am proud to be the citizen of beautiful mountainous happy Bhutan, the birthplace of GNH. Every value in every steps of our movement is taken care under the four pillars, nine domains and 33 indicators. The nation has felt the need of the value that is universal and aspiration of its people. The development paradigm gears with the philosophy.

It is human values at individual level. Those human values are taken care under cultural domain. It gives importance to ethics and morality. With those values we can excel as single person, move as family and develop as nation or society. It is good that Royal University of Bhutan has now started with human values classes for all the colleges under its umbrella. Yes I am fortunate to attend those classes and learn to have right understanding to be good human.

Can you usher the youngsters who would emerge as future bloggers with some inspirational lines?

Whatever your thoughts may be jot it down. Keep the flows going on and a day will remind you what you are doing. If you feel the work you have done is worth sharing, there are many free platforms like bloggers, wordpress.com, blog.com, tumblr, LiveJournel etc… and join in the pool of blogging world. It will be worth thinking, writing, and reading. Just feel it!!! I welcome you!!! But it is your choice!!!

My nominees this time will be my inspiring blogger gurus:
  1.  Sonam Tobgay (And there's more to life), an Architect.
  2. Langa Tenzin(Langa Tenzin's Blog), Law student at Nalsar University of Law, India
  3. Monu Tamang(The Abyss of Freedom), Medical student at Navodaya College of Physiotherapy, India
  4. Pelden Sonam Nima (Writing my Own UnwrittenLines), Custom Officer
  5. Lethro (The continuity of Fate), Forest Officer at Department of Forest.

My questions for them are:
  1. Say something on if given a choice Will you do if you could?
  2. Are you happy?
  3. Are you helping people?
  4. What are you doing differently and how will that impact on people?
  5.  Bhutan is regarded as the land of Gross National Happiness. How far does the philosophy comply with the real lives the Bhutanese people lead and what is your perception on this concept?

The Liebster Blog Award

Well, I am flattered by the nomination. I was wondering on what is Liebster Blog Award and never remind myself to browse net for the important information going viral among bloggers. It is fun indeed to read diverse answers to more of same questions and participate.

Madam Rima, a mistaken Bhutanese, you deserve a big thank you for nominating me for Award and enlightening me about the award. Thank you!!! I never expected maim to be a Singaporean. I thought you were a Bhutanese by citizen living in Singapore. This is true that I was mistaken for when I knew that you were on tour in Bhutan. Anyways let me answer the questions. I think all most all questions are tough for me. Really!

Describe your blog in 3 words.

~ Diary – When I look above sky is the limit. When I think there is no limit in my thoughts. When I think to pen it down, here is my dairy – Sangay Cholden’s Random Thoughts.
~ Reference – I think and act hilarious, good and bad… I dream of all…. When I look back I am reckon with those memories… and yet I read and learn from the updates of my fellow bloggers.
~ Friend – Many a times I am left alone. I have learned to smile. I have learned to learn from those mistakes of mine in you.   The sheer boredom let me suffer sometimes. When I browse you, yes I am relieved! You are friend indeed!

Describe yourself in 3 words.
~ Funny – My first choice is being funny, my second is being sweet if possible as sweet as honey or at least as sugar beet. But sometimes I can be sour too. I will make you laugh but not frown. Yes I am one of a kind!
~ Philosophical – I am bit philosophical though what I say can be subjective.
~ Amiable – yes I am friendly to all and smile a lot.

What kinds of blogs do you like to read and follow?
I have no specific choices. I follow and read any type of blogs. The information can’t be same in all blog. Be it good or bad, to digest and learn from those boundless pool of blogs is in my court. But if definitely I have to choose I will go for the blogs that say about life and human values.
What is something you wished more people knew about you?
I wish what if people know that I am one hearted man!

You’re in an awful mood. Who is the first person you call to cheer you up?
I can’t pour happiness onto others unless I get few drops on myself. I will call my dad, my inspiring guru, as I always do. He would smirk and say, ‘you are one of a kind! And I appreciate it. Never feel bad to others and do always good. Don’t bother for what others do badly on you. But thank from your heart if they good to you’.

Who is the one person who knows you inside out and will always be there for you?
Hope I find one soon.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Anywhere! Because I love travelling to places where I haven’t been before and I would prefer mostly the religious sites.

If there was one thing you could change about the world, what would it be?
I would change human with two hearts to one hearted good human. I am sad when I see and read about being born someone with two hearts, one of which is devoted only to destroying humanity and nature.

If you had a day all to yourself, what would you do?
I would learn more to be good human with values by reading books that contain loads of values.
Favorite food and why?
Hehehe…. I prefer nothing yet I have it all. Just something eatable needs to be on my plate!

My nominees for the award are:

Jigme Zangpo (Thoughts of Jigme Zangpo) third year student, College of Science and Technology. He is new blogger from the college. He writes nothing more than his expression of heart and soul.

Pema Wangyel, (As I Travel My Life’s Journey), civil engineering student from Bumthang.

Madam Launna (Letters from Launna) is my ever inspiring blogger friend. Her ‘blog is about her life one letter at a time... the many different layers and facets of what make her who she is today. She is very friendly, she can talk to just about anyone, and she love to get to know new people’.  She loves her David with much dedication!

First follower of "The Bhutanese Crow"

Hello Karma Thinley.

A chronicle of revolution of Sangay Cholden’s Random Thought was contributed with another journey for being the first follower of the blog “TheBhutanese Crow” authored by Karma Thinley.

Thank you very much for the wonderful say on me about my chance and luck to be the first follower of your wonderful blog. I am flattered indeed.

And I am sorry, there is letter ‘l’ missing in the name you have mentioned. It should be Sangay Cholden.

It was my pleasure to follow your blog and read superb articles. And yes, it is my history in the blogging world that I got to be first follower of a blog.

And I beg your pardon for the late reply.

Experiences are always good and challenging. Feelings and life tells me to maintain more interpretation in black and white. I feel more to write but fail to scribble down and say yea I have done it! And popularity isn’t the choice and criteria for my blog. Writing what I think (random thoughts) and reading what others wrote and simultaneously learning and making life worth is what interest me in blogging world. The more I write and read the more I do know about me and my life.

As of now I don’t have anything to comment and suggest. It is good to keep your blog simple. If you add more gadgets and make it fancy, it takes time to load.

I wish you happy blogging and hope we can know better being as blogger and be happy and smile as human. It is the ultimate goal in life.

Thank you

Sangay Cholden Duba

Q & A on Blogging and Bloggers

Firstly, let me thank Madam Rekha Mongar for the initiative of the wonderful Q & A on Blogging and Blogger’s Tag.  It is indeed first of its kind among Bhutanese bloggers. It facilitates to understand more about the fellow Bhutanese bloggers that are blooming day by day. The genuine reasons and the idea behind their blog and interest will let know the effect in one with writing. Thank you senior and fabulous Bhutanese bloggers for driving me to write little I can.

Q: Why did you start blogging in the first place? And what’s the story behind your blog title?

I never knew about blogging in the first place. In the second place I am not good in writing, but I like to scribble my thoughts. In the third place, I could find information everywhere. It is readily available on websites, news papers, from radio, and verbal interaction with friends and so on… I was reading Bhutan Times news paper once upon a time when I was in first year. There was an interesting article authored by the present prime minister. Since then I noted his website id and was regular visitor and reader on his blog. Then I thought why I can’t I have my own blog? I was inspired by his Excellency.  I have my own thoughts and feelings. The thoughts and feelings that I feel will be worth sharing though it depends on the readers. This is the story behind for coming up with the idea of blogging.

I was shaped to better man by my teachers. They corrected me in every wrong that I did. They told me where to go and what to choose in life. I have nothing to present them as gift, be it on teachers’ day or during farewell dinner except that I study hard and make them proud. I had my Geography teacher when I was in tenth standard. His name was Cholden Khandu. He was a cool guy as human being and good leader for me as teacher. He was in no doubt my best teacher. As a token of thank to him, the name of my blog – Sangay Cholden’s Random was born. It is indeed my dedication platform to all my teachers.

Q: How long have you been blogging? Where are you based?

It is almost three years that I was into blogging. I started posting from October 2010 and till date I have posted 174 posts that are tagged under different levels.

I am base in College of Science of Technology, Phuntsholing currently. I am not sure where I will be after my graduation and I contemplate that I got to be in internet access area.

Q: How do you schedule your blog post? Daily or weekly? Or as and when inspiration strikes you?

I don’t have any particular time that is solely dedicated and scheduled to update and post on my blog. As and when philosophical and poetic inspiration strikes I write and post. In an average I could post five to six posts in a month.

Q: Does your family and friends know about your blog?

Yes. My friends know about my blog. Certainly I feel sometimes very proud to hear my friends call me to say about my article. It motivates me to write more and share with them. The more I write, the more I learn about myself. This is the magic of writing.

Anonymous goes viral on my blog

I started blogging three years back. It was hard for me to keep update on my Random Thoughts of my random thoughts. It is always difficult for me to turn my thoughts into words. But I do like to play with words and construct them into whatever I can. It is always good and lovable to read as a diary and sometimes I doubt myself, do I really wrote this peace? The journey of writing when I am poor in vocabulary and even then when I finally manage to see in black and white, I feel sigh and real wow!

Three years back it was too young to the readers. Page view count button remain constant. I started following blogs and in return they do follow me. I started commenting my thoughts and thank the respective authors for sharing their beautiful articles. My zeal for reading and writing increased, and consequently following many bloggers, sharing my little writing on facebook and other social media, the network of bloggers was thus shaped. When more and more flocking among bloggers increased thus the anonymous comments started flowing in. Page view button accelerate to count how many visit the site which worth not visiting but feel great with inspiring comment and too depriving for inaccurate to the content of the post.

I don’t have much idea on why people choose anonymity to comment. Daily I get forty to fifty spams. I never accept the spam. But many comments authored by anonymous can be seen on almost every posts. And it is unlucky especially for the popular posts. Moment I see my post jumped to the list of popular posts, it is definite that it is being chased with anonymous comments. At times I find so difficult to delete them.

I am happy that many are going through what I have written. I am unhappy that they raise their voice anonymously.  Almost everyone comment with only notion to promote their business. From car rental to travel agent and flight business, they find their time to comment with good words and leave their website id on my website. To be frank I am at all not sure whether I will make to fly around the world with their flight and through their travel agent and do car rental business in Europe?  One that disgust and frustrate is when they comment to promote their sex website. I am not interested in getting naked online and moreover I am in society where sex is still a taboo type.

One very imperative feedback I got from anonymous is about the layout and loading time. They appreciate me for easy loading of its contents. But few say in some browsers image gets overlap. I know in Firefox and chrome everything is fine nonetheless I am finding ways how I can make uniform appearance to all browsers.

It is always great for me to flatter with your great words which inspire me to write more. I write more with smile. I will write more with smile. I will try reading all your comments. I am sorry if I can’t if I delete them. Though it is spam I do my part to read it. It is fluky great that few aren’t spam.

I want to know if it is same for your blog too.

Few anonymous comments:
“Your article has really peaked my interest.

Why I write?

I began blogging three years ago while I was in first year. The purpose was not defined. After a year of blogging I realize the rationale of my amateur interest. I write for the purpose. I have something to say. I have something to say to someone. I have some purpose for saying it. Information is constantly available – from other people, television, radio, newspapers, books, world wide web and many other sources and why not from my blog?

I like to work with words, using them to reconstruct my past, foresee blind alley future and bastardize current.

The journey is tough, tough and blank most of the time. It is a difficult path strewn with slippery wet leaves.  I write about anything I want and the assigned topics. These are two opposite instructions for me and the common reaction to both – a big blank. I don’t have enough past experiences that I’ll pour in black and white. I don’t have gift to get mesmerize by the mesmeric beauty of nature and forecast the futile future.

I tried to remain faithful to my past experiences. Whenever I spark with my past experiences, it drags my hands on the keyboard. And whenever I think to create something that is nonexistent and rhythmic, it turns into poetry. And moreover writing about those and emotions helps me to learn more about me, whether or not I share with anyone else.

There are always charms and pride of writing. Just as you take one final look in the mirror to fix whatever isn’t just right before going out, I take a look at my writing to face readers. And it is finally publish to share with audiences. Reactions from audiences are diverse. They criticize weaknesses and give positive comments for improvement. A criticism of weakness without any ideas for fixing it is a negative.

Some readers which happen to be friend certainly call me to say, how nice my articles are. May be I provoked and astonished them though, I feel my writing are as bland as oatmeal. It is more surprising and proud to see and grin to read few of my articles being published in few national news papers. And the biggest encouragement is when the page -views is never constant on my blog.

Therefore Writing - blogging is a journey maintain through fine diary of our thoughts.
