My Birthday~

I have known my day to celebrate as my birthday ever since I joined Facebook. Thank you friends on Facebook for wonderful wish and I anticipate your wish will make my life unending with loads of happiness and comfort.
I was surprised when my brother send me picture message adorned with beautiful happy birthday note on it. I didn’t believed him. Immediately I crosschecked with my citizenship identity card. Yes, the date match up exactly and on June 17, 1989 I was born. Big thank you brother, your big brother got instant to smile.
It is not my obsession that I consider seriously. What is the logic in counting my days of becoming a useless inefficient man lol? It is undignified celebrating my own birthday. But it reminds me to pray for the peace for everyone. I love doing that. Let each and every individual who breadth to die contain happiness before the exact day to the tomb lol!
Jokes apart, Once again, I want to thank people for wishing me and my prayers are always with you all. Be happy and smile.
I want to share very recent photo, which was snapped 8 hours earlier my birthday on the helipad above my hostel at College of Science and Technology. It will be memory since I have few days left to leave this wonderful college.
8 hours prior to my birthday
One gentle reminder to all – yea I am going to get off with beer today and it will be my souvenir in my entire life!!!
Thank you all.

First Birthday Post!!

I have been living 23 years until today. On this particular date I was born to sweet mother Tshewang Gyelmo and compassionate father Wangchuk. I was the second child in the family. We are a big and happy family, which my father always emphasizes. I have an elder sister, two younger sisters, and three younger brothers.

I typically do not observe any particular festivities on my birthday and remain indifferent towards celebrating it. Sometimes, when I remember my birthday, it has already passed by a day or two. I never had a record of cutting cake and everybody shouting "Happy birthday!" without really meaning to wish for it, lol! Usually I pray for good fortune, in particular to all people born on this date and to all sentient beings. Let them not suffer, and don’t hurt others, for if you do, you can’t justify your life. I chant a few hundred verses of Baza Guru and Mani and offer them to God.

What is the true meaning of celebrating aging? Is it that we get strength to live long? It is indeed an anniversary and a glorious time to celebrate our unique births and individuality.  Age is just a number, and more importantly, a healthy body is vital that can hold up and live life as an adventure.

Spreading birthday wishes on the social-networking site has become an automatic impulse for many users. My first birthday wish was on June 17, 2009, on Facebook. Almost all of my friends wished me Happy Birthday! Thank you, Facebook; even mere strangers wish me loads of luck and wishes.
At 23!

Everyone wishes. We wish to have a good life, and every single one of us wants to win in life. We have dreams of our own and thoughts to unite with one that we love and become one with unity. To befall dreams of mine and yours and yours and mine, your life becoming mine and my life becoming yours, and together we are ours—these are the immense thoughts that we all have in our existence. The feeling, love, excitement... where is it? How did it vanish? Perhaps time will change. And everything is going to change with time.  Live happily and let your times be full of delightful memories and wonder!!

Om a hung baza Guru Pema sidhi hung!!!
