Bully

A child who has to endure bullying usually suffers from low self-esteem, and their ability to learn and be successful at school is dramatically lessened.

I shared this simple idea with my teacher friend once upon a time without posting here.

Many times, I felt that I was doing the right thing, and that we should be acting accordingly. Our life gears around doing right and wrong things. Among 100 circumstances, we create 90 of them ourselves. And 10 of them can be earthquakes, hurricanes, vehicle accidents, etc., that are natural and happen once in a blue moon.

We aren’t born liars! We aren’t born bullies! We aren’t born rich. We aren’t born wrongdoers! We are born as humans to rich and poor families. The background is diverse, but we are born with the same mind, a mind that possesses fear, courage, and mercy. We must have cried for another infant's cry when we were newborns. The children will offer unsolicited help to adults who appear to be struggling to reach something. Babies will also show a distinct preference for adults who help rather than hinder others.

Therefore, we must teach our kid the right thing. And we should ask why students in school bully. What is the main reason behind their mischief? Are these students born bullies? Are these students lacking morals from parents? Or is it the character building that has not yet started for them?

The bully is not only common among students. Now it is encroaching on teacher-students and teacher-parents. Last year in Thimphu, a teacher simply tapped the back of a student. The student informed his parents and father that the boy bashed the teacher. He is the worst bully in the entire group.

And if this is the situation, could teachers step in and stop the bullying? Could parents do more to curtail bad behavior? Or could preventive measures have been started years ago, in early childhood, long before bullies emerged and started heaping abuse on their peers?

If we don’t act now, bullying will shape our education system. Moving from primary to secondary school or secondary school to college can be scary—new surroundings, new teachers, and, for many, a whole new friendship group. It's also a time when bullying peaks and young people feel especially vulnerable, which means they often need a lot of support.

A child who has to endure bullying usually suffers from low self-esteem, and their ability to learn and be successful at school is dramatically lessened. He/she will be traumatized. Schools and parents must educate children about bullying behaviors; it will help all children feel safe and secure at school. Children who bully need to be taught empathy for others’ feelings in order to change their behaviors, and the school must adopt a zero-tolerance policy regarding bullying.

The best and most obvious way to stop bullying in schools is for parents to change the way they parent their children at home. Of course, such an approach is much easier said than done, and everyone parents their children differently. Bullies, however, come from homes where physical punishment is used and children are taught that physical violence is the way to handle problems and get their way.

Bullies usually also come from homes where the parents fight a lot, so violence has been modeled for them. Parental involvement often is lacking in bullies’ lives, and there seems to be little warmth.

The Best Outfit

I am not fashionable and I don’t like to be. But I like the way how others dress that are simple and less exposed. Moreover I was brought up in the society of less exposure. During last 23 years of my growth from little boy to man I have seen tremendous changes in dressing styles. It is not only threatening to once own culture of dressing but it is damn shameful to see sexy and long redundant body parts exposed.

Bhutanese society has grown a lot in fashion. More and more youth are into Korean and Japanese dressing styles. We can see fancy dresses everywhere. And the saddest part is more and more clothes are reducing in size where by only the main parts are covered and it is really disgusting.

Changes are inevitable but it is not changing in a desired way. It won’t be wonder one day when our own daughter and son ask for help to zip their pants up. The world has become too sexy. And the people with notion to rape, their works become so easy and prompting to do.

Nothing special I can conclude but here are the best outfits that I ever liked and it is worth to be what you wear with dignity.

Duality and the Cause

There are some basic principles which governs the universe and that is the principles of duality, attraction and togetherness which are the ingredients of 'LOVE'. Love cannot exist alone just as one cannot be in love alone. We live in an age when love seemed to have gone cold amongst people, where relationships all too often end before they have even started.

We constantly hear of children of broken families and one parent families who are more likely to turn to crime. Recent events of youths looting and stabbing in cities across the Thimphu stands as an example of this uncaring, wayward attitude.

Needless to say there are various factors which caused this, however we cannot overlook the fact of broken homes as part of this ingredients. One only has to watch some foreign shows to see the mix up of relationships especially amongst the young in our communities and worse of all some reason to say that they stab because it is rampant! This is having a devastating effect on our young and society as a whole.

A relationship is as life itself, it comes with its ups and downs; this is the law of duality. We don't give up on life just because of a terrible earthquake, or a tsunami. Our society needs to promote more tolerance and over standing which are the main ingredients of a lasting relationship.

The system that governs our society has no teachings in their educational establishments of how to relate man to woman, woman to man. Academic education alone does not teach human beings how to relate and react to one another. We see in our society today where couples break up for whatever reason only to get back together and have a lasting relationship. In some of these circumstances there might have been a middle person giving some sort of advice and encouragement, this is the power of togetherness.

 For some people however there is no such intervention as they isolate themselves in the selfishness of what they call "my business" and therefore wallow in their own self pity, jealousy, pride and anger to their own demise. A couple who puts away these petty emotions and are real about their feelings will do the right thing to be reunited with the one they love. This is the law of attraction which brings true love for a lasting relationship.

Beautiful Sight in College Picnic

Panic of seniors/elders;
Holding discourteous girlfriend;
Silent but holding her so tense;
To avert in the web of seniors;
Hushed was his strong love for her.

Jumped to the tune of Tum Milee;
With 11000 in their hand tight;
With the sense of fantastic;
Holding their feet tight;
To withstand to the tune of frantic!

The sun showed its way to west;
Seems the day was best;
Juniors showed their courtesy;
Seniors accepted their fantasy;
Organizers seemed messy!

Everybody shouts in the long yellow bus;
Organizers had the sense of drunken mess;
To shun the tantrum of lecturers;
Counselors seemed the bearer;
The day was wonderful to remember!

Fascination

At a certain time in our life we try to find someone, who match with us. It is referring to the searching of suitable partner for whole life bonding. To someone it is true love or true life partner. It is normal and at the age of sixteen-eighteen or so we start to feel it. But at the age the true love actually does not come, it is called fantasy or fascination on opposite gender. Maturity matters to choose someone. The teenagers are engulfed with full of fascination. In this time someone may dream about her classmate, neighbor even if it is not uncommon to think or possess about someone who is too much older than him. At the tender age boys mostly found any heroine as their dream woman.

The reason is for their beauty and seductive expression, which makes them to be fascinated. The beautiful actress has evoked boys’ fantasy. The boys get ardently passionate about the actress to get her physically and all time used to dream about her to make courtship. I can remember the same thing when I saw few western actresses online. At the time I was just eighteen and I am now too not that old to be called man and I become fascinated seeing beautiful body, expressive eyes, lips and the unavoidable curves. It makes my passion at such a level that I was totally obsessed seeing at a glance for someday.

It is very tender age and it should be handled carefully by the superiors. At the age we step towards maturity both physically and mentally. The hormonal changes within body actives the reproductive organs and the changes in body & mind keep us busy to stick to some fascination. Actually it is the starting point of towards maturity and then the attractiveness and manhood personality awakes in us. So to impress a girl or by their style and get fascinated on some beautiful one is very common among the boys and vice versa. At the time of internet, visiting any adult site and seeing some hot pose pictures are commonly known among us. We do visit usually adult links to view seductive models. In internet these types of sites and models are available in full range. Visiting these types of sites is not bad literally but of it becomes practice it becomes affective. Now the time is very dangerous. The popular media is giving hike those types of entertainment, which is totally weird, unfruitful and unethical. For instance, take any type of dance or singing reality show. Here we are telecasted kids and teenagers are given platform to do some mature job in immature voice or body.

Indirectly we are become pray of the market and our childhoods are totally destroyed in the earlier stage and it some realized later. Nowadays item dances are destroying totally the teenagers’ mind. The dance is nothing but a passionate appeal to destroy the youth’s mind. The bad elements are present and ready to create disturbance in teenagers’ productive mind. We should be careful to eliminate these harmful things, persons and TV channels.

Are we Helpless??

Let me represent our dear youth, young men and women. This could me what our youth strive for. And here it goes…..

There is no guide book to this game we call life. There are no wrong or right answers; our only clue to living life is our heart.

But what’s one heart without another? What be the point of living life only to fade back into black in the end?
All I ever asked for is a friend or two, but no one ever hears, am I not loud enough? Not clear enough? Or is it I’m not good enough? Is it what I’m asking for not what I need, because in this moment I’m empty inside?

Tonight I’m so insane I want to leave home and scream in the middle street “Hey everyone, I’m alive! I exist! I’m actually real, I’m here.”

Maybe then it’ll be clear to the world what I want is only friendship, love and job, nothing more.
I’ve never asked for money, an unfortunate lesser person could use that prayer elsewhere. I’ve never caused harm to anyone, so why it that I’m treated this way?

Why can I never be happy?
Who am I?
Where and why am I here?

My body’s young, my memories new, yet my soul seem old. All I know is love, yet I’m always kept back in the shadows, no one knows I’m here.

Now I’m making sure tonight someone will know I am here. I’m waiting to meet them, and for whatever is the reason, this mysterious force we call life is keeping me from them.

And I’m sorry, I’m not sure I can make it through alone, please help me get by. My strength has been drain throughout the years, I feel like I’ll break. Help me before I snap into 2 more incomplete parts.

My wish: I will sleep tonight and hope to see you there where I go every night. Only this time it won’t be a field of nightmares but of freedom. And when I wake, beauty will illuminate my life.

But in reality: I know I will wake up to the same world as today is. And so I will keep losing and losing my sanity at age 17. Dealing with depression, with no love, no friends.

So please listen. Please tell me you can hear me; please tell me you know I exist. Tell me I’m not alone; tell me I don’t HAVE TO be alone anymore. This is the last straw, before I become lonely forever, heartless and cold, the one thing I truly despise is the thing I’ll become soon without you. Someone save me.

Help our youth to discover diamond in them.

EmploY youR LifE

To the unemployed youth of Bhutan- Life is a mixture as we all know. Just the way diamonds are rare, so we as an individual are rare. Every individual will not be the same. Among the thousands of different types of life, being born as a human being is no less than being a diamond in a coal mine!

We should frequently ask ourselves, in what stage of life are we? We need to think and know what we need to discover within us, and it will be a wonder that most of us live life without discovering that we have something special within us! At times, even when we realize that there is something special within us, we never bother to shape it properly, or rather, fail to get the right teachers who can shape that specialty and bring it out.

Life? A question of success and failure. Everybody wants success. I can't say and argue that I am successful, and I bet people will blame me for such bullshit. It is a privilege to write my Random Thoughts and share them with all. Everything I write is a simple thought and ultimately a mannerism.

After hearing and reading many stories of success and failure, it's actually a wonderful thing that I know and learn. Success can be enjoyed but cannot be passed on. Our parents, relatives, friends etc, being successful in no way guarantees that we as an individual will be successful too!

Everybody is scared of failures. I have seen lots of failures and have failed a lot too. Failing in exams doesn't mean that we have failed in life. There are miles to go. As a teenager or handsome and beautiful young man, whether it will be right or wrong, we just know one fact—we never want to be poor. So having that fact in oneself, we have to employ ourselves and work hard irrespective of what the work is. Don't discard it as a blue collar job and don't rejoice it as a white collar job. We just need to work hard with passion and dedication and out of desperation and belief.

Don't grieve and worry about your work, and if you fail, remember failure is not fatal. We need to know that failure gives incentives to work harder, an act that invariably leads to some kind of success in most cases. So work hard whenever you fail. It is an amazing teacher. It also helps us to wake up with a passion to strive harder. We will never learn if we never fail. If we don't learn, we will never grow and shape the specialty that we have in us!

And remember that Mr. Shah Rukh Khan, the "King of Bollywood," just signed and acted in films that were discards of actors—films for which producers could not find anyone to act. He acted in all of them just to make sure that he continued working and avoided unemployment. He worked very hard on those movies. And he is now a big star....

And too, Mr. Amitabh Bachan, tallest man in Indian cinema, sometimes he recollects -  as a young boy when film festivals were held in a big hall he used to stand on pavement outside the hall and think one day he'll also be in the hall  and have opportunity to see and meet all those big stars. Now he had discovered what is within him, work hard and he is a greatest Actor of stage and screen. I rejoice to see him receiving numerous awards and people cheering for him.

And somebody rightly said, If you are a street sweeper, so be it. Clean your street so well that others are forced to acknowledge your existence and feel that "here lived a street sweeper who did his job well"; because anything worth it is worth doing passionately and with hard work. Else, neither will you be happy, nor will you succeed, and interestingly, nor will you earn money.

If we employ our self for what we get, work hard and discover the specialty within us we as an individual will be happy and people as a whole will rejoice for our success.

TRY AND BE ONE TO MASTER THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN, WALK ON MOON AND DRIVE THROUGH DEEPEST OCEAN.

Cheers!...
