Cold in Thimphu

It was in mid-July when I reached Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. It was moderate then. Not many months passed by. Within those few months I appeared for Royal Civil Service Examination which included written examinations and viva voce. Not so many vacancies are announced and still I am waiting for the corporations to announce their vacant posts for civil engineer. In fact, the job market is mute.

After Going through the Labour Market Information Guide for University Graduates, 2014 I am not that much worried about my employment. The private sector immediately fills many vacant posts for civil engineers. Definitely if the RCSE result is as expected, I shall join one. Private sectors are not so bad for civil engineers!
Thimphu

Thimphu has become very cold within those few gone months. As it get colder day by day, my body battle to it. It resist in the form of various pains. My chest pain upsurges. My leg doesn’t wish me to walk more. My back doesn’t desire to endure long hour cold. All in all my body don’t suit in cold. It is not acclimatizing.

I don’t see people roaming through the city as much as I could see a few months back. City dwellers fortified them with cozy jackets, long boots, and comfy hats. Shops get closed soon after the sunset. Karaoke doesn’t get busy so early. Not many people date in the branded clock tower.
But many gather and circle the porridge sellers. As they sip the hot porridge and breathe out, I could see the beautiful faces through the haze of warm air in the cold. And within few minutes I get dissolved in the arena of hawkers. I move back home and wait hours to get my body warm in the thick blankets.
Snow on the mountain above Paro valley

Yes, Thimphu is cold. Do enjoy the cold and wait for the departed, lovely warm summer.

Wow! I could see beautiful snow on the cap of mountains above Paro Valley. Journey has begun.
Have a nice day!!!

A sense in One~

Not so long ago, I spent my childhood with my brothers. It was indeed a profound intimacy of brotherhood. As we move to manhood and lead the different path in life, we are miles apart. We live miles apart, so we rarely meet physically.
Mentally I ever love close in your heart,
Physically wish remain ever in my heart,
To be with you – my brothers!
It has become culture for all. A culture to meet back home only on occasions like the New Year celebration, annual rituals, Diwali, etc. It is indeed the education that kicks us apart miles away. We study for life. We work for life with different organizations, and we spent our lives separately for a lifetime.
All accumulations are bound for dwindling.
The dualism bounds to separatism.
But it is again a new culture that gone friends are able to meet at the crematorium. Our new start of life shall weaken with the unloving death. And it is enlivened for gone friends to meet again for the death at the crematorium.
For every birth’s gladness,
I can’t defend facing death's madness.
Far and away on the uncertainty bridge

The pictures I found on my PC undeniably inspired me to write this post. Not so long ago, I was in Mongar for the job training. It was good to see and relieved in me to know that they are happy together. A younger brother followed his older brother. Sometimes afterward, there is an end. And on the bridge of uncertainty they dwell.
Far and away on the uncertainty bridge,
You and I dwell for the purpose of life.
Not many miles in an arena of life,
Yet life shall be worth living and shall fortify us.
For the moving death!

And the loving brothers pass through~
I was born and am living. You were born, and we are living a life. Let’s forget not to live a life that will bring us immense and unending happiness. Wish you happiness for all beings on this wonderful mother earth. Embrace your mother with dignity and die with the same.

Have a nice weekend.

The O My...

Flying away far and beyond the boundary of my heart,
Singing the rhythmic song in ecstasy;
O my bird, my bird, pleasure frees to roam around.
Wafting the decorated wings in the air of yours,
Blowing thy gentle mesmerism
O my bird, my bird.

Toddling to and fro beyond the boundary of your domicile
Chuckling the inner essence of yours
O my baby, my baby, innocent rules to learn more.
Showing the innocent smiles over again and over
Craving thy little heart
O my baby, my baby.

Together with same kind is great enjoyment passing well...
Calling far and yet beyond the boundary of thine solitary,
Thinking the aroma of intimacy
O my darling, my sweetheart, thine missing is my dying.
In those wanton  pictures among those sandalwood,
It is pastime passing excellent
O my babe, my darling.

O friend, my friend
Laughing happy is good time together,
Crying together is hard time passing hard wherever
O friend, my friend
Far and away yet in the inner core of my heart
Breathe beyond the limit of essence embedded in you and me.

For my two Younger brothers

I don’t know why I feel like believing this feeling. Maybe I am concerned about my two younger brothers, who are leading different paths, and their mistake of turning back to my path can be a sin.
I hope with inspiration from our parent and great gurus, they will do justice to what they have opted to go for and live with. Whenever we gather back home with Dad and Mom, they wish their commitment would go beyond what people usually mull over.
I dedicate the poem to those who are yet to complete their studies at Trashigang Dratshang and Tango Buddhist University. I hope, due to my mundane mind, I don’t parallel my conduct to theirs.
During tender years of not even in your teens,
‘Twas where you woo’d the gentle mind well,
Wonder and ponder my mind over thy great deed.
I feel a complete aroma in thy life chosen to be a monk forever.

Brother Tsheten Tashi

Going on the heavenly abbot called earth,
Beautified with little chirping birds and delight people
When I go to practice religion for universal well-being,
I feel a complete aroma in my temperament.

In the heavenly abbot of Tango monastery,
With great gurus and loving friends,
When I remember the pleasant face of yearning love,
I feel complete numbness in my heart and soul.

Brother Kezang Rangdel

During my entire eighteen years of survival,
Enjoyed the beauty of dwelling on this wonderful earth,
Yet when I think of my past mischief time alone together
My eyes can’t control shedding an ocean of tears.

With not as much of good merit in my past life,
I can feel the paining result in my current verve.
With deep submission and prostration, I pray,
Pray for the wellbeing of sentient beings in the contemporary world!

Dunglagang, Tsirang, Bhutan

Not many people wish to work in a remote community. It is almost everyone’s disappointment to visit any villages for official tours or any other reasons. I think more than half of our citizens need to rethink to situate the situation so that our children believe otherwise next time.

Every community is not too bad to neglect and consider. People are happy with electricity, safe drinking water, bumpy roads, and the community center. Whatever we believe is prioritized in urban society is now available in rural culture. It is beautiful and a good thing to let people know that they are happy individually.

Whenever I visit any community or village, I discover something that inspires me. This time the place is at Dunglagang under Tsirang district. Old cohort grandpa plays football barefoot for the exhibition match, and the audience laughs out loud. What a beautiful thing to cheer up for! Every granny’s face shines when her grandpa kicks a ball like a toddler. I will forever cherish these moments and write them down for everyone to see—happiness exists!

well played match!

Anyways, when nature calls for jubilation, when it pours the sign of blessing with mild rain, when the subjects are waiting for the days to swiftly run by, and when it will exactly reach the destiny to bless with Blessed Rainy Day, I wish all Bhutanese a very Happy Blessed Rainy Day.
