Bully

A child who has to endure bullying usually suffers from low self-esteem, and their ability to learn and be successful at school is dramatically lessened.

I shared this simple idea with my teacher friend once upon a time without posting here.

Many times, I felt that I was doing the right thing, and that we should be acting accordingly. Our life gears around doing right and wrong things. Among 100 circumstances, we create 90 of them ourselves. And 10 of them can be earthquakes, hurricanes, vehicle accidents, etc., that are natural and happen once in a blue moon.

We aren’t born liars! We aren’t born bullies! We aren’t born rich. We aren’t born wrongdoers! We are born as humans to rich and poor families. The background is diverse, but we are born with the same mind, a mind that possesses fear, courage, and mercy. We must have cried for another infant's cry when we were newborns. The children will offer unsolicited help to adults who appear to be struggling to reach something. Babies will also show a distinct preference for adults who help rather than hinder others.

Therefore, we must teach our kid the right thing. And we should ask why students in school bully. What is the main reason behind their mischief? Are these students born bullies? Are these students lacking morals from parents? Or is it the character building that has not yet started for them?

The bully is not only common among students. Now it is encroaching on teacher-students and teacher-parents. Last year in Thimphu, a teacher simply tapped the back of a student. The student informed his parents and father that the boy bashed the teacher. He is the worst bully in the entire group.

And if this is the situation, could teachers step in and stop the bullying? Could parents do more to curtail bad behavior? Or could preventive measures have been started years ago, in early childhood, long before bullies emerged and started heaping abuse on their peers?

If we don’t act now, bullying will shape our education system. Moving from primary to secondary school or secondary school to college can be scary—new surroundings, new teachers, and, for many, a whole new friendship group. It's also a time when bullying peaks and young people feel especially vulnerable, which means they often need a lot of support.

A child who has to endure bullying usually suffers from low self-esteem, and their ability to learn and be successful at school is dramatically lessened. He/she will be traumatized. Schools and parents must educate children about bullying behaviors; it will help all children feel safe and secure at school. Children who bully need to be taught empathy for others’ feelings in order to change their behaviors, and the school must adopt a zero-tolerance policy regarding bullying.

The best and most obvious way to stop bullying in schools is for parents to change the way they parent their children at home. Of course, such an approach is much easier said than done, and everyone parents their children differently. Bullies, however, come from homes where physical punishment is used and children are taught that physical violence is the way to handle problems and get their way.

Bullies usually also come from homes where the parents fight a lot, so violence has been modeled for them. Parental involvement often is lacking in bullies’ lives, and there seems to be little warmth.

Happy International Women's Day!!

It is indeed great to know and jovial for your oppression and inequality are subdued. Many women are now in the position of respectability and prestige.
Sorry, by the time I knew the day was International Women’s Day; it was already 06:00 pm on my PC. Few of my friends and fellow bloggers has posted about the day and thanked women for being with them and making wonderful and beautiful as is today.

Let me too forget not to say something about the day. International Women’s Day, literally the day is meaning about the women all over the world. The day where women should flashback what the society is up to with them. What is your status? What are your grievances against man? What more the leaders and preachers should enforce and preach those exact laws? What is your freedom? And how much empowered you are?

Beautiful and complete is what you feel when you are and work with women. They are the gifted angels from heaven on earth. The soft spoken languages, the soft handling hands, the soft inner essence of every heart, and the beautiful looks that our women have, gives birth to all that should render and support our ultimate mother. You all are mother to all beings on the earth that bears head held high and where the knowledge is free to learn and ultimately you all made the world.

It is the day globally celebrated for the achievements of women in social, political and economics, Not only for the past achievements but for the future and the present. In some countries it is observed as national holiday.

It is indeed great to know and jovial for your oppression and inequality are subdued. Many women are now in the position of respectability and prestige. Still many more women need to be empowered. Many sections of society look you down. The justice needs to be heard, the jury needs to be fair, and the word partiality should be removed for the exact meaning of women being the ornament of home, office…
Cine camera devours an actor. The strength and the capability of an actor is capacity to as much forget the machine that records his or her every twitch for posterity. Women are not actors. Men are not machines. We can’t forget each other. We are living in the world of duality. Men shall not devour women. Women shall not build capacity to forget men. And together we build an environment where every individual is empowered for what we should be.

Happy Women’s Day!! May all, the beautiful women laugh and prosperity and happiness rule your times.

For those WHo gets Hurt!!

Once I was asked by a boy from my village, "What do you do with your girlfriend?" I said, "Nothing." I said nothing because he was too young to ask and know about it. And the same question I asked him back. "What are you going to do when you are in a relationship?" he replied. “I want to kiss her first and then follow the next…?”!! What could be next, probably sex? And that was what he meant!
These days most of the girls end up with tears! Their grievance is they went physical. Ahh! What is there when you are in or do physical relationships? It is very simple. When someone hurts you, cry a river, build a bridge, and get over it.

What do you really do when you love a man? When you love a man, you would like to hold his hand. You would like to hug him sometimes, hear his sound, and see his face too. When your beloved is far away, you hear only his sound. The sound is not enough, I think. When you see him, you are more satisfied. And when he touches you, certainly you are more satisfied. And what? When you taste him, certainly I think you are even more satisfied. What is sex?! It is just a meeting of two deep energies.

You can’t just use the man. And you can’t call it love at all. You want the man to bring you a luxurious car, expensive ring, and fur coat; take care of the house; and prepare meals! And you don’t want to share anything with him.

When you love, you don’t have any secrets, and you share all. You are available when your heart is utterly open. When you love, you are ready to go with him wherever he leads you, even to hell if he is going.

One thing you have to know is to consider and build your love before having sex. Almost every man has this tendency. He will think whether he loves you or not only after sex.

I have seen enormous, gigantic trees. They are deep-rooted in the earth. If it is not deep-rooted, it may topple down due to strong wind. There are other factors that may topple the tree. If the tree wants to touch the sky, it should have to go very deep down. The higher it wants to go, the deeper it has to go into the earth. Be rooted in your sex if you really want to become a lover. More and more energy will be converted into love, and nobody will leave you behind.

When many girls inquire about you, you will utter, "You hate love." Why hate love? Hate is not a right relationship with anything. Hate simply shows that you are afraid. Hate simply shows that there is great fear in you. Today’s women run after money, power, respectability, and prestige. If you really want to hate something, hate money, hate power, and hate prestige. Sex is natural; money, unnatural. Why hate love?

Stature!!

Sorry, the information may be wrong and untrue but the incident is fact, not fictitious. At times I think such happens and trust it happened for reasons!

For the fact of being human and our head held high, where knowledge is free justifies we are advanced than any other living beings on earth! Who cares if we don’t know how to handle our own life? Ultimately it boils down to an individual.

It is ridiculous to know we are so sexy. The society itself has befallen to be sexy! What is there if we can align with society? And what if we can’t? The natural thing that we have to know and act is we have to align with society and move accordingly in our own way so that it doesn’t guilt us. We have our own philosophies and guiding principles to be what we want to be. May be those girls are funneled through philosophies and principles that they get laid and move on!!

Can our society accept the status of being prostitutes? Can this happen in near future or is it happening or is it the moving road for their future? Does it mean you are so sexy or the guys are? Or is it that they choose the negative direction in fork of their life. I couldn’t get the right answer. May be I ask myself the wrong question and intuited wrong.

People declare capital city as the hub for enjoyment and opportunities.  Their simple justifications are, there are many drayangs, parties, hang out at night to faraway places like Sangaygang, Bhuddha point etc… bushes are very thick and bit safe.

Getting out of taxi unless you are sexed, passing dirty comments to men passing by, raising their sexy brows are the few incident that I myself encountered and initial through friends.
thenikkidubose.com

Sometimes taxi drivers are in trouble for they have to make love with the customer when they refuse to get out. I was completely astonished when a driver narrated such story. Is it existent? I inquired him more than twenty times I think!! “Don’t you believe me? Stay here at Thimphu, you will know the situations”; he argued. I was left without a word to reply him!

I was waiting for my brother at booking, it was too long. I was so bored. I went to nearby stalls to have tea and momo. Almost immediately I reach the stall, few young girls said, “Acho have tea here, have momo, have hot tea, and have juice otherwise”. It will be ok for someone like me if there is one voice uttering all these. But it is mixture of different voices with seductive notion. Though it is their strategies to sell what they have but after awhile their comment changes. I got lost in chaotic voices. And moreover I was blushed when they said, “Acho phorab, Nuchu Phorab”, and so many unwanted terminologies they use. I didn’t know how to react. Lucky will be me if I have the power to vanish then and there.

And I know there are many unfortunate and fortunate who are breathing in the city. There are countless orphans, broken family girls, unqualified for what they desire, waving hands for help and instead greedy men mistake them for and seduce.  They give their today for tomorrows! Men twist their life like a sandal in a bin. I respect our beautiful ladies in the town and we should but what if such is the situation?

My Perspective on MP Ugyen Dorji

I am sorry for those who may think that the article is persuasive. It is not intended at all to change your mindset. Vote for whom you think will be the most capable.  The whole lot is in your hand, so try for the best exercise.

I am from Wangphu gewog, which falls under the Deothang-Gomdar constituency. It was bifurcated from Gomdar gewog. It is a small Gewog that hosts sixteen villages, 380 households, with a population of approximately three thousand. I was lucky that MP is from Wangphu Gewog. Lucky doesn’t mean his partiality over developmental activities or anything of the sort that the people may think. Lucky justifies my indulgence, frankly, or with no tension in public meetings at Geowog and the village, and the promises that he made during his campaign were all fulfilled.

My Cambridge Advanced Learner Dictionary says a politician is a member of a government or law-making organization. I was in fact looking for something that will describe how and what type of politician it should be. Should he/she be talkative or persuasive? What qualities should a politician possess?

What should be the characteristics of a politician? I think the qualities of a politician are his natural characteristics, while maybesome of the qualities are as a result of external influences. The best quality in a politician is honesty. Reliability and trustworthiness can rule the faithful and effective politician. The politician who is promising is naturally backed by skills, experiences, intelligence, and integrity. When all combine together, they achieve their goals.  What he preaches must be captured and displayed through truth, sincerity, frankness, and practice. The responsibility must be accounted for with accountability. When he/she makes a decision, he/she should accept responsibility for his/her actions and his/her words. The same should be when they deal with people. When he/she makes promises, he/she shouldn’t be otherwise to keep the same. He is labeled as a responsible politician because he loves people with all his heart, mind, soul, and power, and strives to help them.

There is no doubt that MP Ugyen Dorji meets all the aforementioned criteria. He is a politician who keeps his words as the top priority. He speaks less. Be it in the National Assembly hall or be it with the people, he always talks less, but when he does, he targets the point.

The only major promises that he kept during his campaign were the farm road to Gewog and further to Yarphu via Pangthang village, electricity in the Gewog, and mobile services. Soon after the DPT government started ruling, the promises that he kept started flowing in one after another. Among all, first the Gewog got its mobile services connectivity, both Tcell and Bmobile. When the people were struggling to get their mobile phones charged from the solar batteries, soon the villages were brightened up with electricity.  The seasonal mandarin business became so easy in terms of transportation when the snaky farm road made its way through the maize fields decorated with mandarin trees and rough terrains. Thus, the major campaign promises were all fulfilled under Wangphu Gewog.

There are many accomplished minor developmental activities, which are the ultimate necessity of the people in the Gewog. Two hostels for the students of Yarphu and Wangphu Community Primary School were constructed.  Construction of the BHU (Basic Health Unit) and Gewog office was also completed. The drinking water in the villages was renovated and supplied with extra pipelines. The crucial striving for the people when they had to feed water to their cattle during winter was sufficed when safe drinking water was made available on the sloppy terrain around Om Zor Nay.

Among all, for the deprived parents and the hardworking sons/daughters, the issue of the Security Clearance Certificate (SCC) or No Objection Certificate (NOC) was resolved. Now we can see Wangphupa students pursuing higher studies to become doctors, engineers, teachers….

It seemed the Gewog was waiting for the bifurcation from Gomdar. Soon it was bifurcated, and the DPT (Druk Phuentsum Tshogpa) government started functioning; the developmental activities started blooming like the sky with stars. On behalf of the Gewog's residents and myself, I would like to thank the DPT government, especially our honorable MP Dasho Ugyen Dorji, for developing the Gewog, which has made it easier for people to work and has ultimately fulfilled all promises. I wish Dasho a good journey ahead for the upcoming election.
