Sonam SOnam

The tune, and when I visualize its rhythm with someone, it’s so beautiful and I feel like my butterfly has got extra wings. 

This is my first of its kind to write Dzongkha lyrics in English. It is not as inspiring as I was inspired by it in Dzongkha. The tune, and when I visualize its rhythm with someone, it’s so beautiful and I feel like my butterfly has got extra wings.

Exquisite girl that who poison the mind and mindset,

Once more have an endurance to listen to me please!

At times, visualization of you;

I never discern where I am......

Sonam my Sonam…. 

Girl:

SOnam my SOnam….

Boy:

In The way you smile physically;

Do you love me mentally?

Once I loved the beautiful blossomed flower;

Seems not the seeds within is poison.

Girl:

Distrust me not for my simple state of mind;

Suspicion me not for my simple dialogue;

Beautiful and sweet the flower will be;

Taste shall vary for mouths.

Boy:

Lengthy is my succinct love to you;

You’ll not show your beam to others;

After I loved the sweetness of thy love;

I’ll suffer to bait my life to suicide.

Girl:

The Mind that can’t be seen and feel;

After I gave to you with no regret;

Molded from the blood and bones; my precious bodied gem;

When and where..? it’s always for you…
