I WaNt to saY thAnK yOu.

This is a tribute to my friends... If they could only read... You may think I'm crazy, but... You don't know how much I love my friends, so just bear with me...

How do you thank a friend who is always there for you? When you are all alone – well, not all alone, but people get tired of being there for you, you've worn them out, or you've worn yourself out – who do you turn to? How do you trust when you want to push everyone away because of the pain and yet hold them close because you're afraid to let go, but no one wants you to do that?

My friends are always there. Each of my friends has their own unique way of showing support. Dawley is cool and talkative; he puts his hand on my shoulder and criticises me by calling me Khamjay, psycho, and other names. If I have little spare time, that's ok; I'll go to his room and chat. We will all discuss our experiences and thoughts about having relationships with girls. Whenever I see him chatting with girls online, I insist he introduce me.

Sonam Rabten, also known as Ajang, is the only friend I have in real life. He is silly and smart, and occasionally he is called SMART RASCAL. He seeks my attention by simply walking past me from behind, then he will say “wai Pubba”, referring to Phurpa Thinley, a Bhutanese comedian. Sometimes, hearing this frustrates me completely. And I wonder how I resemble Phurpa Thinley. Perhaps it's because I have a slightly longer chin than Phurpa Thinley. Looking at him frustrated just makes me smile because he never meant what he said. He will divert my attention, playfully strike my shoulder and hip repeatedly until I invoke Newton’s third law. It seems natural for him to be like this for me.

Phuntsho Wangdi, my little CHOTA DON. We spend time together sharing experiences and joking. He offers support and an ear. Oftentimes I seek advice from him on how to go about solving problems.
His dialogue, "Hey Jaro," and clicking his thumb offer me a laugh.  He is really a friend who reminds me not to take life too seriously among friends and helps each other cope when things are not going well. It is like a blessing to have a friend like him in my life.

Sonam Dorji stands out as the most devoted friend I have ever had.  He is senior. He is my roommate.  He teaches me. He will do whatever I ask if it is academic. He truly is a wonderful friend.

Kinzang Wangmo is the most beautiful girlfriend I have ever had. She is now at Samtse College of Education. By November she will complete her training in secondary education. She never expresses what she feels. And I know what she feels for me. She is the first one I proposed to. With her short straight hair and her smiling face. (I can tell if she is smiling)... She was slim, tall, and the eldest in her family. She is not that bright, but she's my life. I worry about her right now... Not because she is away... But I feel she may leave me.
And the irony is we were once departed and are now on the verge of rejoining. I love her so much.

And lastly, Ngawang Tenzin, who is currently at Samtse College. I ought to have exercised greater caution... as he mocked me when I committed a minor error. He is so smart, and he was actually my first friend who is always close... He used to go to sleep every night before anyone. Now that he's gone... I'm still thinking of him every now and then... Wishing he were fine and missing calling him sometimes. I miss you, Ngawang.

There are so many more friends who are in my life; I miss them all. They have all brought such joy and life to me; they are there for me to help me through the dark hours; they smile at me and cheer me up. When others get tired of my tears and my depression, my anger and sadness, you are all there for me and love me anyway. I am ok in your eyes... I am good enough... You give me what I most desire: to be worthy enough.

Thank you...

Life is beaUtifuL

From the little experiences that I have: The word "life" is known to all individuals in this world. It looks how we see it. To some it is adventurous, to some it is thrilling, and to some it is boring. This is all due to how we see and handle problems in life.
Here is the quotation about life:
"The difference between school and life is in school; you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson."
This quote is really true in everyone's life. Even in the school, life teaches us some lessons. Each and every day we learn lessons. One thing is that life keeps us testing every day, but only a few tests seem so important later when we realize it.
Life is an Adventure ... Dare it
Life is a Beauty ... Praise it
Life is a Challenge ... Meet it
Life is a Duty ... Perform it
Life is a Struggle ... Fight it
Life is a Promise ... Fulfill it
Life is a Game ... Play it
Life is a Gift ... Accept it
Life is a Journey ... Complete it
Life is a Mystery ... Unfold it
Life is a Goal ... Achieve it
Life is an Opportunity ... Take it
Life is a Puzzle ... Solve it
Life is a Song ... Sing it
Life is a Sorrow ... Overcome it
Life is a Spirit ... Realize it
These are words we hear every day. We often think they are just beautiful words that people say to get applause for their speeches. But people had said only by experience.
Like air, Life is also a mixture of many things: joy, sorrow, humour, tears, etc.
The most important thing we need to live with is hope and confidence in ourselves. If we lose our confidence level, life seems boring and serious.
One's life is in one's hands. Only we make our life, not others. In fact, a life without problems is really boring. If one is skillful enough to handle the problems in life, then life seems good to him. The best way is to take the problems positively.
There should be a goal in everyone's life. Life is not estimated on the size of the goal. In fact, one's own goal appears to be big and great. But a life without a goal is like a "boat without a rudder."
One should understand that none is born in joy, lives in it, and dies with the same. Similarly, one is born in sorrow and lives and dies in it. Life is like sailing in a boat; the weather is not always smooth. One should face the problem, analyze it, and find a way to come out of it.
One should judge life by their enjoyment and sorrow. Life is real! Life is earnest! Life is not actually what we see.
During our schooling, we conduct an experiment in the physics laboratory, where we perform the following calculations.
We do the experiment first and note the value in the notebook.
We repeat the experiment five or six times and note down the values.
While calculating the final answer, we take the average.
For accuracy we consider the mean value as the final value.
Similarly, we can consider our experience as the values we note and take the average. We will come to a conclusion that the final answer (i.e., the mean value) is "life is beautiful."

Missing JOys.

Joy can be found in little thing, simple things in life. The smile of a child, the laughter of a child, can bring much joy to person. When we get job it can bring much joy. When a woman finds out she is pregnant she is joyful. And you, Kinza missing from my life fetch me no joy... NO.. not at all..

My graduation from this college, college of science and Technology, wouldn't bring me a joy but it will be a great pride for my parents and relatives.

When a person is over coming any obstacle in life, we'll find much joy in their attitudes. Joy can mean many things to different people. It all depends on what a person values in their life. for some people their hobbies bring them much joy. For some, it is how they spend their spare time. It is important that we all take time out to enjoy our life. But for me having you in my life will be much valued and enjoyable.

I have planted a seed.  Every spring I have a opportunity to plant seeds of many kind and watch them sprout and grow. One tiny seed that sprouts and becomes a flower or vegetable is wondrous and joyful thing to watch. Every year this brings me a simple joy. It requires little attention and provides wonder and amazement. Watch a thirsty plant when it rains. I have seen it reaching up and becoming alive. This is truly a joyous thing. Standing near, missing someone, regretting and seeing  the beauty of sun set and rise  tear rolls down from my cheeks. It dissolves my joyful moment.  Still thinking about you and hoping these joys would permanently stay. Still miss you Kinza...

Life is meaningless without my love one. You are always special to me. Come back my dear, come back. With folding arms, i am waiting to beg sorry for everything, I reaally love you KINZA OM....

Time Doesn't permit

After hearing His Majesty's intention to wed Jetsun Pema, I thought of putting my thoughts of how His Majesty motivated me in writing, but time doesn't permits me. Being a trainee in only Engineering college in the country, we are always technical; have to do lots of research and infinite number of assignments and projects. These all keep me busy and on top of that I have to prepare for tests and semester exams. The frequency of test conducted is too high.. In a week we have to do more than two to three tests. And if we count the number of test conducted in a semester on our fingers,  hmm.. its totaling around 47. Every semester we have to do 47 tests including viva, quizzes, and etc.

I am sure I'll write the above mentioned after my exams are over. I have no other option to express my gratitude to His majesty. This is the only platform where I can share my deep sense of motivation and respect.

And I pray, I may be free after exams.

WHat I Always wanted to tEll you KinZa

From the day you accepted my proposal, I felt I achieved something in my life. Unbeknownst to me, our cherished relationship was about to unravel. Just to be frank, I have never said "I love you" to anyone before. Additionally, I have not yet been able to genuinely look at you and declare, "I want to be with you forever." But I really felt it from the inner part of my heart. My diffidence was what forbade me from expressing my feelings. In most relationships, the time to say goodbye usually arrives at one point or another. I have seen many couples break up after some time together. They have shared memories that elicited laughter or tears, and some believe it is time to move forward. But I cannot do that.

I did not promise you everything; I did not give you anything. Perhaps I did not enable your happiness; I did not assist you extensively. I did not engage in dating you, nor did I cuddle you, and I did not communicate with you frequently. From the day I departed from you, from Tashigang, I felt something was always missing with me. Meeting and separating is a natural part of life. We cannot stop that. As a result, I realized how much I missed you.

It's human nature to be jealous or resentful when we hear something different about our dear one. I didn't know how much you have confirmed that I have a relationship with another girl. And I am not sure how much you believe rumors.

I still remember your dialogs. When I think back, my eyes are always filling up with tears. I always blushed when my friends questioned our relationship. I can't say anything. In such situations, I am stupid!. Everybody praises your positive character. And I know you were, are, and will always be wonderful. I am not praising you. I know how compassionate you are, how exquisite you are, how frank you are, how lovely you are...

Kinza... Don't think I am bullshitting here. What is said and written here is solely what I feel and wanted to tell you. Do you know why I haven't shared all the details with you over the phone? The reason is that I'm afraid of how you will react. And whenever I call you, I end up saying, "How are you? How is your training going on?" How is everything there? How are Ngawang and all? I have to hang up now, even though I wanted to tell you something.

I was told, "You dumped me." Yes, you are correct. I dumped you because you thought that I would dump you. It is not Kinza. I have never left you, never hated you, and never neglected you. I always love and care for you. I have never held your hands to tell you that I love you the most in this world. I have always wanted to express my devotion to you.

Do you believe what people who know you but aren't in contact say—that I love you online? The internet exposes us to a world of information. We meet different kinds of people online. People flirt. They tell lies. I too have many online friends. Most of them are girls. I chat with them, but I never engage in serious conversations. I never tell lies and cheat others.

The main point I wanted to tell you is I want to REJOIN you. Please forgive me for what has happened. Your absence in my life is making me crazy. Sometimes I get lost in thinking of you. I hope I wouldn't go insane thinking of you. And if I am insane, maybe that is my fate.

Lastly, Kinza, I am joining my two hands together and begging you to forgive me for annoying you by sending your letters and other messages. This is the biggest crime I have committed. This is the biggest crime I have ever committed in my life, and I still regret it. Whenever I go in temples or lhakhangs, I always offer my shagpaa. And I hope one day God will hear me.  I still love you and care about you more than anyone in this world.

And don't mind if you think it's nonsense. Good luck, KINZA...

Warm regards from your Sangay.

Motivation

When I look around me and just listen, observe and embrace daily activities, I find myself being motivated.

When I’m at in class, or anywhere else and I watch people working so hard, I get motivated to also work hard. When I look at relationships other people have with each other, I strive to improve my relationships with my people and motivates me to be the best possible friend.

What motivates me more is when I look at my life a few years back and look at it now, it motivates me to keep on growing to become the person I really want to be. It is really not difficult to get motivated. I really think what motivates me the most out of everything in life is how people handle each other.

When I see two people fighting, loving, talking, laughing, understanding, comforting or whatever the case may be I strive to be better at it and to be the best possible “supporting system” - that is what motivates me.

I love helping people and being there when they need a helping hand and watching interpersonal relationships is what motivates me.
The person who motivates me the most is His Majesty the King Jigme Kheser. WOrld know how he works hard for his subjects and how inspiring his works are.

Another motivator is a teacher and not just any teacher, this teacher means the absolute world to me and this teacher would be Mr. Tshering Dorji. He was my dzongkha lopoen when I was in tenth standard at Tashigang.

And one more thing that will really motivate me will be love. I've never meant the words "I love you" before. I said it to few when I was bit young, and actually loved. I thought that at one point, I knew what love was; but then I realized, it was merely my infantile stupidity showing. But infantile stupidity sure does hurt. I see it everywhere.
I haven't been able to truly look at a person and say "I want to be with you forever". I haven't been able to let go of the past and march forward, to a tomorrow that would be filled with happiness. I'm beginning to think that it doesn't exist. But I promise. I shall look with everything inside me for that one thing. I still haven't found it.

Hurt never Smile ever

“Hurt never Smile ever" is not followed by everyone. So as its not even followed in friendship. At times your best friend may hurt you. They may try to do a Hitler act by annoying you and troubling you by saying words which hurt you. Trust me it is painful when you hurt your best friend. I know it because I have always made my best friend cry. I mean not always but at times.

I still remember the day when I fought with my best friend. She was sounding sad and upset. Other day when I spoke to her I learnt that she had cried the whole day for a single issue. I soon apologized and tried to make her happy. When your best friend is upset because of you then go to her/him. Try to be casual, crack few jokes. Hunt for opportunities which would bring a smile in their face. If she is still angry with you then pull their cheeks and say "Cheychey sem mashee siii why are so upset... he he”.

Dear friends, friendship is one of the most priced possession/gifts in the world. A friend is our alter ego. It’s the most pure relationship in the world. They sow the seeds of happiness and you derive more happiness as you reap it. Just be good to friends. Don’t lose your friends even if they love or hurt you.Yeh not to forget ...just give them a kick when he/she has an eye on your girl/guy. Kidding!!

Keep your dear one/friends always happy...

When your best friend falls in love with your girlfriend/Boyfriend

May sound funny, but it’s not funny. Trust me it happens quite often. One of my friend once had a crush on his best friends girl friend when he was in class 11.But then he was too young, so one can't blame solely for the kid within him. Instead you should blame the hormones if you are planning to blame one. .

Well what happens when your best friend falls in love with your gf/bf? .Nightmare!! no no its not a nightmare. But I would like to say the same thing. Go talk to your best friend. Explain him/her the importance of "your" gf/bf in your life. If he/she is your best friend then they would surely pay heed to your words. And another advice for best friends. Wait and watch method works well at times. If your best friend breaks off with his girlfriend/boyfriend then its time for you. Not at all gross, but this is my idea.

Friendship

Throughout our lives we meet many people, and some of these relationships are short-lived and others are for the long term. We all need a friend for finding happiness in our lives, and both our short and long term friendships play a significant role in this happiness.

Is friendship for a lifetime? It is often hard to say because there is no right answer to this question; sometimes we expect that friendships are for a lifetime and in case of real friendship, friendship can exist as long you live.

Friendship is one of the most important things in our lives and we all have periods with problems or we need advice and having a good friend to turn to is a very nice thing to have. Even if you are married or in a relationship there are always items which you prefer to talk first with your friends; not that your husband or wife doesn't want to listen to these problems but a friend often has another view on certain issues than the person you live with will.

A lifetime friendship can start when we are a little child but many times these friendships are only for a certain period. We get friends when we are going to school; to play with and probably we have many common interests. When we become older it is sometimes hard to keep these friendships alive. At this stage in our life we will probably be in relationships or have gotten married. Keeping in touch is not always easy because very often we live far from each other and our free time is limited.

Most people are going to work outside and in the evening they spent most of the time with their husband or wife. If we have children it is often difficult to make time free for our childhood best friends but there are certainly friendships which can exist for a lifetime. Especially if we are in a sports club or another kind of activity which we share is perfectly possible that the friendship will be so close that we can give your friendship a lifetime agreement.

When we become an adult we will expand our circle and meet new friends. It mostly happens when we don't expect it. This can be near the place we live, at work, during a travel or even online. On this stage of age we will have other interests and also other kind of problems where we need a friend for.
I don't have strong friendship bounds from the time when I was a child or even at from the time when I was in my schools.

I really believe that lifetime friendships exist and I was almost sure I found one five years ago. It happened during my ninth and tenth standard at Tashigang. I never was in group. I never mingle with my mates. I was not sure how this happened. The day I realize it was SHE. And worst of all our true friendship was shattered due to distance and belief systems.

Now I am here in College of Science and Technology. Study in college is different from that of schools. We have to do lots of group work, group assignment, group discussions and etc. we organized works in group, and since then my friendship with them become closer. We called each other and go for walk. And they are no other than Sangay Jamtsho (Douley/Khamjay), Sonam Dorji, Sonam Rabten(Smart Rascal), Dechen Norbu(DecNor), Phuntsho wangdi(Phuss), Deki Phuntsho(Pykala), Choki Dorji and etc.

We are exposed to internet. The use of Internet makes it possible to find friends online. There are many dating sites where you can find friends online. I found the last one year some good online friends in writing sites and some of them are now friends. Keeping in touch is really not difficult; e-mail and messenger services make it possible to keep these friendships alive. These friendships are still young and it is difficult to say now if these friendships are for a lifetime but I really believe that some of them are for a lifetime.

Friendships are important in life and if you find a real friend I am quite sure that real friendships exist for a lifetime. It happens very frequently that friendships have a longer lifetime than a romantic relationship or a marriage and you can also have lifetime friendships with someone of the opposite sex. True friendship is really beautiful and offers you benefits for a lifetime.
Friendship not to break
Is it possible for twenty children to play together for twenty years? Thinking about some old friends brings a lot of refreshing and great memories to mind. When I consider some childhood friends, I really wish we could get together and be friends again. The real fact is that some friendships are not meant to last forever. A friend of mine once told me that friendship can expire. I totally agree with him, because the relationship with some of my friends has actually expired.

Cheers and be friend!!!!!

Sangay Dema

We are exposed to the internet. The use of the Internet makes it possible to find friends online. There are many dating sites where we can find friends online. Keeping in touch is really not difficult; e-mail, Facebook, and messenger services make it possible to keep these friendships alive. These friendships are still young.
Friendship is sharing in the search for truth and happiness with one or others. A true friendship would last forever over time and time. Nothing is more precious than having a true friendship because we can't live without it.

Sangay T Dema

Thank you, Sangay Dema.  You are my Facebook friend. Chatting with you is fun.
You make me laugh...and make me forget my problems. We share our interest and aspirations. I'll never forget what you shared with me. You have brought joy and life to me; you may be there for me to help me through the dark hours; you may smile at me and cheer me up. When others get tired of my tears, my depression, my anger, and my sadness, you may be there for me and make me laugh anyway. Hehehehe... Don't mind.

You are a positive and cheerful person, one who finds excitement in even the smallest thing. As much as I know you are not in depression and never hide from life's ups and downs. To blame thyself for what is happening around or to you is more than just a norm for you.

And lastly, I consider you as my friend even though I have not seen you and didn't spend a single minute with you. I think you are a close friend, and maybe you'll be a friend in some senses of the word.
Thank you, Facebook, for giving me such a wonderful and cheerful friend.

And I urge you to always be happy, as you said, and good luck for everything... and I hope you wouldn't mind this nonsense.

Take care, Sangay....
Missing you hehehehe...

Its Funny to recollect :: Dreams..

Teenagers use their friends to assist them in getting an attention from girl or boy. If we see a particular group of girls always hanging around where we spend time, chances are, there is a girl in the group who thinks you are the answer to her Charming fantasy. If there is giggling, whispering, and sometimes, pointing, whenever we pass by or we are in their area, try to pick out the one who appears embarrassed and does not look directly at you. This is the one who is crazy about you.

It was during my schooling at Rangjung Higher Secondary school. I was in twelfth standard. I thought I was falling in love with a girl. I used to feel totally different when I see her. Her name is Sangay Wangmo. She was in ninth standard and a day scholar. Though I was senior to her I never got confident to stand by her. I thought I was the only one that admires her style of scoring in basket ball, beauty, smile and walking style. I have attended sports events, cultural shows.. sitting up front cheering everything for her besides my busy schedule to do home works.
Once it was in morning assembly, I have manipulated others to ensure that she stands by my side. My simple plan was to give her an epistle. And I thought to ask if she is interested in me.?? A simple “yes” or “no” answer to a single question. But my hesitancy didn’t allow. Then a plain idea strikes my mind. To act on it I got my friends to start rumors about the fact that I am crazy about her.

It was during one fine SUPW work program.  We were allocated work together. She greeted me. I was astound and blushed for awhile. Not knowing what to say, I gave my sexy smile. May be she might have heard about fact rumors.  I never thought she be interested in me.  Or my assumption s is wrong.
From that day, she greeted me warmly every morning.  Days passed .. and I was confident enough to face her everywhere. We shared our interests, likes and aspirations. But I controlled to tell her what I really felt. From then she brought small gifts from home. It was all that were mentioned in conversations. And one special was a pen for my pocket that “doesn’t leak”.
She laughs at my jokes, find opportunities to be a confined space with me. At lunch, she will tell me that there is something around my mouth, then wipes it off with her finger instead of a napkin. After lunch we will extend our conversations, betting our eyes, giving a sexy smile, teasing and touching. And sometimes we will be late in our class.
One fine afternoon, She steer the conversation to a more personal level, put her hand on my arm, talking, and run her fingers through her hair several times, and ,moisten her lips often and whispered her secret in my ears. “Sangay, I am in Love with you”.

Heat of Engineering (To my High School Friends)

Before you decide whether or not to study engineering at university, you have to develop a good understanding of what "engineering" actually is. What do engineers do? Where can engineering take you? How is it different to science or mathematics? Will you be able to get a job? And, how much will you get paid?
First of all, engineering is VERY broad. Specializations can range from traditional fields such as civil, electrical and mechanical engineering to new emerging branches like biomedical, computer systems, and green' technology. All engineering subjects are rooted firmly in combining advanced mathematical and scientific knowledge to solve real-world problems. Essentially, engineers are the problem-solvers, innovators and research and developers that make much of modern life possible. From the bridges you drive across, the car you drive and the GPS (a system that can show the exact position of a person or thing by using signals from satellites) system that tell you where to go - all were designed by a team of very skilled civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers.

As populations increase and the push to be ever more modern and sophisticated continues, jobs for engineering graduates continue to increase. Indeed with the emergence of new engineering fields, many new jobs are continually being created. For example, the development of the internet 15 years ago created a huge boom for computer systems or software programming engineers. Bhutan being in the developing stage always shouts of engineer shortage. Nowadays, in light of the global green movement, sustainable building processes and materials has become an increasingly prominent engineering field. All this leads us to believe that studying engineering will set you up for a very bright future - and because engineers are in such high demand, the pay is exceptionally good!
Of course, how much money you get should never be the determining factor for choosing any career; the true secret is to do something you feel truly passionate about. The very nature of engineering means that you will have to enjoy and be good at calculus, physics and a range of other maths and sciences. However, engineering is not only for maths, science or computer geeks! It is also a very good study choice if you're really passionate about working in a specialised field like environmental protection, bioengineering, advanced telecommunications, or robotics. If you like to solve problems and create things, then engineering could be for you.
Bear in mind that engineering does involve a lot of hard work! Not only will you be studying a wide range of topics, but there are many practical experiments, projects and research that you will have to do. All are time-consuming and require a great deal of commitment and determination to get done. Basically, engineering is not for the lazy student. Your laziness will be proved if you do engineering in College of Science and Technology or elsewhere you go in the engineering colleges.
Ultimately, the choice of what to study at university is a very important decision that draws on a lot of personal factors like your own interests, strengths and study habits. Outside factors such as job prospects or your parents' opinions and friends opinions should be considered, but certainly do not let your parents and friends decide for you what you should do!
Also, though engineering is a very male-dominated profession. Girls will have to be prepared for weird looks should not stop you determined girls from giving it a go and proving to all that girls can do engineering, too! And that has happened.
 Good Luck!!!

Vacancy Announcement for Osama!!!

Now the USA has taken out terror leader Osama Bin Laden, there is a vacancy at top of one of the world's leading terrorist organisation, Al Qaeda.
This job opening brings with it some serious dangers. The applicants will be few. however, the position brings with it a lot of international power and prestige, making it a desirable job for those who are interested in terrorist's mission.

After the death of him, the US Government said that the world is safer place, and it may be, but terror lives on and so do threats against the US. The big question for all or for many is now who now will be the leading figure of Al Qaeda?
The death of Bin Laden is certainly a demoralizing for his followers. People may say Al Qaeda has been noticeably weakened now that its leader is gone forever, but I think its the real time where we have to be extra careful. In the decades since AL queada emerged as a terror group, many franchises have emerged that share the name and mission of the parent group, but operate independently in places like Iraq, Libya and etc.. this plurality of group means that the next leader of international terror may not even come from Bin Laden's operation.

One extra precaution that the world should now concern is "tight the security". Who knows the most frustrated follower of Bin laden who is equally equipped like him may again create miserable history.

And my simple note to everyone is from the day we were born we started dying and act accordingly and don't go for Osama's mission. Living a Life like sandal in a bin isn't justifiable if you hurt others.

Good luck.....
